Information
Office
Hours & Appointments
Our Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday
through Friday. During these times, our staff is available to answer
telephones, take messages for the attorneys, answer questions and provide
assistance. The attorneys have active schedules and are not always in the
office during these times.
Clients are seen in our office by appointment. However, in
certain cases scheduling accommodations can be made. If you require urgent
assistance, please call the office first.
Each Attorney keeps his own schedule. Therefore,
appointments are usually made directly by the attorneys. Different matters
require different amounts of time for proper counsel and evaluation. By
speaking directly to the attorney before the scheduling of an appointment,
the nature of the matter can be ascertained so that the appropriate amount of
time can be scheduled for you.
If for some reason, you are unable to keep your scheduled
appointment, please telephone the office as soon as possible. Your promptness
allows us to be more efficient and spend the maximum amount of time with you.
Telephone Calls
Please try to keep telephone calls to business hours at the
office. The Attorneys have active schedules and will generally return your
call later the same day. After office hours, voice mail is available for you
to leave a message.
We extend to all of our clients the courtesy of
uninterrupted office conferences. Therefore, unless your matter is an
emergency, we may not be able to speak with you when you call.
If your attorney is unavailable when you call, leave your
name, telephone number and a message. It is important that you leave as much
information as possible since your attorney may not be in the office when he
returns the call. All calls will be returned as soon as possible.
Fees and Billing
Different matters require different fee arrangements. You
should discuss the fee arrangements during your first visit to the office.
In order to minimize your expenses, we suggest that you
collect all letters, documents, notes and information, even if it is not in
your favor so that your attorney will be able to give you the best advice.
Misunderstandings often arise because clients are unaware
of the extent of the work the attorney has done. We maintain detailed records
of our time spent working for each client on hourly billing matters. Feel
free to ask for explanations regarding billing and charges.
We will keep you advised of the progress of your matter.
Frequent telephone calls or office visits merely to find out how the things
are going may increase your charges.
Philosophy of Practice
It is important that you fully explain your goals and
objectives to your goals and objectives to your attorney. Any facts discussed
with your attorney are completely confidential, and protected from disclosure
by the attorney-client privilege. It is essential that all information
regarding your matter be known before any attempt can be made to solve the
problem. Once all information is obtained, your attorney will be able to
explain the procedures and steps necessary to clear up your problem
We each see our own clients because we feel that legal
counsel is best provided by the attorney who gets to know you and your
specific situation. However, in order to provide you with the highest degree
of expertise, we each concentrate our practice in certain areas.
